The 7,000-Foot Ridge That Gave Us Our Name
Shot down deep inside Iran, badly injured and alone, Bravo climbed toward a 7,000-foot ridgeline while enemy forces searched for the downed crew.
As American intelligence and military forces used subterfuge and misdirection to keep enemy searchers looking in the wrong places, the rescue force moved toward Bravo.
From the ridgeline came a message: God is good.
The climb gave us our name. The rescue gave us CALLSIGN: BRAVO.
CLIMB HIGHER.
